Mandy Grunfeld Rosenfield

Director of Tennis

Mandy Rosenfield is a former professional and leading British tennis player. She was ranked as high as No.3 in Great Britain and in the low 100’s in the world. She played for her country in the Federation Cup, Wightman Cup and competed at Grand Slams around the world, including playing against the legendary Martina Navratilova and Lori McNeil at Wimbledon. She competed in all the grand slams and was known as one of the fittest and toughest tennis players of her era. When injury curtailed her playing career she earned a place at Manchester University studying for three years and received a First Class Honors degree in Physical Therapy. She has a tremendous amount of experiences in the physiology, stresses, and strains of tennis. She has a wealth of experience to offer and passes these experiences on to young tennis players.


Maddison Abell

Assistant Director of Tennis

Maddison is a former military brat and spent 3 years living in Korea. Prior to relocating, she was training at the Andy Roddick Foundation and held the number one ranking for girls 12’s in Texas. On returning to the USA, Maddison moved to Georgia, where she helped her high school team win a state championship. Maddison coached middle school tennis, facilitated Special Olympic tournaments, and has a great experience coaching under 10’s. She is also a certified personal trainer, so she is able to compliment tennis specific fitness for our players. Maddison has a huge passion for working with young families. She is currently working on her Level 1 PTR Certification. Off the court, she was a coordinator at the second busiest restaurant in the world and worked in management with Marriott and the Target Organizations respectively.


Stella Peisakhova

Elite Tennis and Academy Coach

Stella Peisakhova was born in Odessa, Ukraine and has been teaching tennis for 8 years. She graduated with a B.S degree in Sports Management from Niagara University in 2018. While at school, she was on the Division I Women’s Tennis team, playing #1 singles and #1 doubles. Stella has taught players of all ages, and really enjoys being on the court. When Stella is not teaching or playing tennis, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son Leo.


Fernando Valdajos

Elite Tennis and Academy Coach

Fernando is a Former ATP and WTA Tour Coach with a tremendous experience of coaching players of all levels. He worked more than 20 years, coaching ATP and WTA players and has also coached 2 Top-50 ATP players and 5 Top-100 players including 2012 French Open Finalist and 2012 US Open Doubles Champion Sara Errani. He is a PTR Professional and a National Trainer (Spanish Federation) and has been a Full Time coach on the ATP and WTA tours for 8 years.Fernando has worked with Sara Errani (Italy) : Nª 5 WTA. Maria Antonia Sanchez Lorenzo (Spain): Nª33 WTA.Arantxa Parra (Spain): N 46 WTA and Dudi Sella No29 ATPHe is a former Director at JMO Tennis Academy and is fluent in Spanish and French. Fernando is married with a wife and son having relocated from Spain.


Howard Jones

International Performance Tennis and Junior Development

Howard is originally from Great Britain and has over 25 years’ experience in the tennis coaching business. He has personally developed numerous players from 10 &up; and all level upwards, many of whom have won junior titles at national and international level. Some of these players have gone on to achieve rankings and win titles on the ATP/WTA tours and others have obtained scholarships with NCAA Division 1 teams.

Howard has worked as a traveling coach for Great Britain junior teams to various tournaments including ITFs and Tennis Europe events and has also held the role of Director of Performance at the National Training Centre in the UK. He is a PTR Certified Professional, LTA Master Professional United Kingdom and has won the Performance Coaches Award.Howard vast experience of college tennis is a huge asset for our Academy.


Scott Reznich

Head Tennis Professional

Scott is a PTR certified professional originally from Malta, where he held the number one ranking in the country from age 10 to 21. As a junior Scott played open tournaments throughout Italy, England, Germany and on the European Satellite Circuit. 

Scott’s teaching background is extensive and varied, starting in 1995 at the Marsa sports and Royal Country Club in Malta, The New York athletic club, Sutton East Tennis, as an independent/private coach in Frankfurt Germany, Franklin athletic club in Detroit, Palmetto dunes tennis center on Hilton Head, as well as serving as the adult tennis director at the Weymouth Club and teaching pro at The Kingsbury Club in Massachusetts.


Gabriel Andrew

Elite Tennis

Gabriel Andrew is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. He has been teaching and playing tennis for 15 years .  For 3 years, Gabriel worked for Nike, running their tennis camps under the supervision of Carlos Goffi, former coach of John McEnroe (ranked No. 1 in the world in both singles & doubles). Gabriel is a certified PTR member since 2015. He is excited to share his passion and experience with all players – from high performance to junior level.

Alexander Groenhuysen

Academy Coach

Alexander Groenhuysen has been coaching students of all ages (K – 12th grade) for 7 years. He attended the Smith Stearns tennis academy from a young age and will be completing his level one PTR certification this Spring. Alex taught at the Radley Run Country Club in West Chester, PA before moving to Florida.


Micah Kurtz

Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach

Micah Kurtz is the Assistant Athletics Director/ Director of Strength, Conditioning & Athletic Development at Windermere Preparatory School.  Prior to Windermere Prep, Coach Kurtz worked at the University of South Carolina and AC Flora. During Kurtz’ time at AC Flora he directly worked with the school’s tennis team that won four straight region championships, 2 upper state championships and 1 state championship.  While at the University of South Carolina, he worked with the women’s tennis team that made the NCAA tournament in 2007-2008. Coach Kurtz has consulted with the NFL, USA Basketball, USA Football and Nike Football on youth athletic development education.


David Pace

General Manager

David has been apart of the Orlando Tennis Academy for 9 years. David instructed tennis at the Ocoee Tennis Academy and has a marketing background at Universal Creative Marketing. He is an Eagle Scout and graduated with a major in Communications and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
